Where do I park?
Our largest parking lot is on the west side of the church (by the football stadium). There are several parking spaces right on Henderson Street. There are a few parking spaces on the east side of the church. Handicapped parking is available in both the east and west parking lots.
What is your worship service like?
Our worship service is traditional. Most of the songs we sing are traditional hymns, though we do sing praise choruses on occasion. Our accompanist plays piano and organ. We say an affirmation of faith, usually the Apostle Creed, every Sunday and we pray the Lord's Prayer each week.
Can I take communion?
In the United Methodist Church, we have open communion. That means that everyone is invited to participate.
How do I join?
You can join our church by transferring from another denomination, transferring from another United Methodist Church, or by professing your faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized.
I have already been baptized, must I be baptized again to join your church?
No, in fact, we do not rebaptize even if you wish to be rebaptized. We believe that it is God who does the baptism. Sprinkling water on the head or being immersed in water is a sign of what God has done for us.
Do you have a nursery?
Yes, we have a nursery. It is located behind the sanctuary by the east entrance of the building. An usher can help you find it.
